The FLLITE project is working with a community of language educators to develop collections of openly-licensed texts and openly-licensed lessons for L2 reading and writing. Open materials are free and accessible–no fees, no passwords! Learn about the FLLITE Approach and then take a look at the materials on this site.
This page provides the space for archiving open, authentic FL texts that encode the literary in the everyday, thereby furnishing a key resource for the creation of FLLITE-inspired lessons. These texts will be indexed according to a variety of fields in order to facilitate browsing and selection.
The FLLITE project provides foreign language instructors with guidelines for developing and teaching effective lessons based on the premise of the literary in the everyday. The Lessons page then provides a space for the publication of open lessons.
A collection is a series of FLLITE lessons that constitute a coherent pedagogical module or supplemental reader to a textbook.
The FLLITE team is collecting case studies describing the implementation of the FLLITE approach in various contexts. Please consider sharing your experiences with other FL educators. Let’s learn together!
